Privacy and data
SayQL has no account, no server of its own and no telemetry. It sends data only to services you configure, and only when you use them:
| When | What's sent | To |
|---|---|---|
| You connect or run a query | Your login and your SQL | Your database |
| You ask in plain English | Your question; table and column names, types, keys, enum values and row estimates; the current SQL for follow-ups, Explain, Fix and Improve; any skill you add | Your AI provider |
| A query fails and SayQL fixes it | The query and the database's error | Your AI provider |
| An AI app uses SayQL over MCP | The schemas and query results it asks for | That AI app |
| SayQL starts | The app version and your operating system, to check for updates | GitHub (dithzz/sayql-releases) |
The rows in your tables are never sent to an AI provider by the Ask box. With a local model, nothing leaves your computer. Read the full privacy notice.
Feedback and the website
Feedback in the status bar opens a short form, then a pre-filled public GitHub issue in your browser. Your text is filled in, plus your SayQL version and operating system for feedback and bug reports. Nothing is sent until you post it.
This website counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, doesn't follow you across sites and stores no personal data.
